Sadly, Helipark will not be operating this season due to refurbishment works at Mt Potts that will carry on well into the winter season. We will be back in action in 2013. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause. Helipark is heli-accessed free riding in 660Ha of incredible backcountry terrain. The only operation of its kind, Heli Park is heli-accessed free riding in a CONTROLLED environment. Ski or ride powder, chutes, wide open bowls and rock drops, the choice is yours. You pick your own lines, and you decide how many runs you do – pay as you go! We do safety and lunch. HeliPark is a place for free-skiers and riders to play in powder, and for photographers and teams to get the shots they need. It’s another world first for New Zealand. You buy the HeliPark access pass for just $325. This includes your first run. Then it’s just $75 per lift for as many or as few runs as you want. The helicopter flies all day, dropping groups into different spots. You decide where to go you decide how many runs.
